JS sound in "Clouds race across the sky"

Hi everyone. Does anybody knows how Joe obtains his rythme JS guitar sounds in this title ? I'd like to know the chain of effects used, their order and levels used.

Many thanks for your help.

well it's kinda hard to do a gear list when we don't know who the artist is. its acually not Joe Satriani doing that track. Crazy world ain't it? can't believe people on kazaa mislabel files like that.

Don't understand your comment 8O . As far as I know this is part of Joe's album entitled "Engines of creation". Who's the guy playing then the rythme guitar and how does he obtains that sound ?

Its impossible to know what exactly he used for that exact sound. It wqas recorded in a pro studio.

From what i hear its just clean with added touch of delay and chorus, maybe some flanger also (?). I assume its played with the bridge position.

from there you can play with the EQ a little to get that "dull" sound of the rythem track.

the second part of the lead solo is an octave phaser combined with the regular distorted sound.
