LOGIC EXPRESS 7...Any thoughts...?

I run 10.4.something Tiger on an ibook G4. Don't think I want to but Logic Express 8 (or upgrade my mac) just yet so am looking for used LE7 on the bay.

Can anyone who uses it recommend me soundcards, A/D-D/A converters, compatible preamps etc etc

Any thoughts would be great.

Well I have already upgraded since I have a new MacBook.

The stuff I use, I use for ages now though:

- M-Audio Oxygen (Mini Keyboard with built in sound and recording cards, your recording studio for the road...) Love this thing.

- M-Audio Master Keyboard USB (Full Piano Keyboard)

- Emagic Multirecording soundcard Firewire (8 independent recording ins)

This is really all I need at home. If I need more it is time to hit the studio...

You should have a line-in audio jack, looks like a headphone jack. Monster sells this little thing called the "iStudioLink" for about $12, I have it and it's AMAZING. Really worth it, I use it with Garageband (but I want Pro Tools or Logic Express). Anyway, Logic Express is a VERY nice program, especially for the money. You can't go wrong, unless you want to use Pro Tools, Logic Express is nice.
