midi to real


does anyone know how to make midi files sound more real by using fruity loops, or another program, i quite new to recording, thanks, pete.
P.S. im using a PC not a MAC

Use quality samples, and manually edit parameters to how a human would play the part. Are you entering notes manually, playing them in, or using pre-made MIDI snippets?

well i just enter the tab into guitar pro and it plays it back to me as i write it, then just export it as a midi

There are to things that make a midi track sound "real": a) the first is the sound quality of the patch assigned to it, and b) the quality of the sequence itself.
The first is what I was talking about in my last post, and is very easy technically to do. The second is difficult and require experience to make the track sound human. Thing like note placement, attack, vibrato, legato, etc. enter in to the equation.

Well there's your problem right there. A machine is playing the notes back. The is NO HUMAN EXPRESSION whatsoever.
