Hey folks,
I'm stuck out in Iraq till october. Lookin at picking up a laptop and some recording software, but I need a program that I can figure out, I'm a marine and kinda stupid.
Whats everyone using for their
drum tracks, their synth bits and all that jazz. I can read music, slightly, but I'd rather author everything with a midi pickup if I can.
I've settled on Adobe Audition for the audio recording, but it's not so great with midi, and I"m not so great with midi. I need a program that will work with synth sounds, let me write music in notation and turn that into midi and then slap a good sound onto the part. Whats out there that doesn't sound like a cheap toy?
