need help with recording setup

Hello all

setup: pII 450 128 ram. OS(98SE)
soundcard:m-audio audiophile 2496.
effectsbox: digitech rp300.
mixer: behringer eurorack UB802.
Need help hooking this all up guys... please.

correct me if i'm wrong.

rp300 has a L\R channel out.(i got a dual cable 1\4 mono to RCA plugs) out to L\R in, on the sound card. so i figure i need another one of these
dual cables to go from the soundcard L\R out to the mixer correct? if so,
where on this mixer do the outs from soundcard go?
Does my guitar still go in the input of the rp300 or do i have to change that too? the rp 300 has headphone input(1\8 jack). It also has a jam along input so you could hear(backing track) while you solo.
My old setup was (guitar)>(rp300)> line in on soundcard.
can you guys help me with new setup? please.

Plug your guitar into the digitech. Your digitech out to your mixer's input on channels 1 & 2. Then your mixers main outputs into the sound card's inputs. Then plug your sound cards outputs into your speakers or monitors.

You don't need the "jam track" input on your digitech. If you want to play along to a CD or something, just plug that into another channel on your mixer.

Hope that helps.
