Playing into my pc.

Yesterday i bought a converter that allowed to plug my guitar into my pc. Im not using a soundcard. IM using onboard audio wich is realtek hd audio. I have a rp80 FXproccessor. But when i play sound only comes out of the right speaker. I know the rp80 has two line outputs but changing them doesnt make the left speaker sound, its always the one on the right. Now my question is how do i make it sound through the two speakers or does it only sound through one? Would i have to buy a soundcard for this?

BTw: im using 2 channel speakers with a subwoofer.

Sounds like a stereo input and you are plugging in a mono source.

I assume you are using a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter. Well the adapter also
needs to be 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo.
