PODxt or PODxt Live?

Hey guys,

Well I've come to terms that I won't be able to use my rig as much next year seeing as it's too damn loud for a dorm room. I was thinking of getting PODxt for recording and jammin' on my computer. However, I saw PODxt Live and wondered if I could use the same way as PODxt on the computer as well as live. I'm wondering if it's worth the extra cash for the Live rather than the xt.

Basically, what are the key differences? Why would you choose one over the other? Do you think PODxt is what I'm looking for? Etc. I read what the line 6 site had to say, but I would like to hear what the players think. Thanks for the help jemsters.

I sold my PodXT and to be honest really miss it..

I will be buying the XT Live, its nice to have the ability to turn crap on and off as well as switch from say clean to dirtys..

The Live is a hell of a lot more versatile. You get an expression pedal, as well as footswitchable channels. You'd have to buy a midi (is it? it is with the Behringer v-amp's) footswitch to do that on the regular PodXT.

Hmm. I was leaning towards PODxt Live to begin with.

I dont think the podxt live lacks any features of the podxt and includes the pedalboard function so i would definitely go with the podxt live. Has anyone else had extensive use with the podxt live and how would you rate its overall tones?
