Well im bored so hopefully this will get something going to amuse me..

Here is a picture of my setup

Apple Mini Mac with 1gig upgrade
PodXT
Fender Acoustisonic for PodXT (I Know I Know)
Custom Built towers by me for my monitors
JVC Bookshelf powers the towers

Not top notch but it works for me.. Since im a poor poor man..

That's a nice big uncluttered desk, I like it.

I wish I had that much surface area... when I moved in to my new house, I gave up my bigger studio desk and decided to make due with a modified computer cart. The end result is that everything's packed in so tight that it's a b#@$ to rewire anything!

bduersh what software do you use ?? And tell me about hardware also- i can see it's a PC - what is essential to get pretty decent sound from computer studio- sorry- I'm lame and I'd like to know ;]

But in a nutshell I use Sonar 4 Producer software, Frontier Design Montana/Dakota cards, Presonus/Focusrite/Behringer/Studio Projects preamps & converters, Presonus/RNC compressors, and lots of different mics (quite a few from Studio Projects).

cool thread. brent, i also use sonar 4 pe. i built my pc just for it as well. what type of plugins are you using? when i get off my lazy butt i'll take pics of all my gear.
