Question

Power question

Ok, so I've finally got everything I need to start recording music. But I've got so much stuff that I'll be using at the same time (computer, amp, effect pedal, monitors and more) that I was wondering how I can determine if I'll blow a fuse or not? I think the fuses here can take up to 10 to 16 A.

Re: Power question

You won't blow a fuse. No way!!

I think you'd need more then twenty amplifiers and not even come close to blowing a fuse.

So don't worry about it.

Re: Power question

Just make sure you don't put the kettle on at the same time, that could make all the difference

Only if you are playing the guitar in the kitchen, they most likely won't share a fuse. But other than that you are correct, a water boiler, rice cooker or frying pan will use about 10 times more electricity than Marshall stack.

I'd put the kettle on the gas stove anyway and if you have an electric stove, you should really have triple phase 360V power, or enough to drive a small locomotive
