pro tools

Just got LE off a friend tried to install and it said i need XP as my OS, but i'm running vista. Is there a upgrade I need to download for it to work on vista. Possibly a dumb question but I'm new to this.

when you go to the digidesign site head directly for the forums. There will be a bunch of threads & info on vista/PTLE explaining how to get through it. I think you'll need 7.3 updates, I dont use it with Vista so I can't help much other than that

Take off Vista and run xp pro until an add-in comes out. Vista may be nice and all but, this isn't the time to run a new OS, and you shouldn't be running Windows to begin with, you should've bought a mac.
