Problems with ASIO4ALL, and general setup of buffer sizes e.t.c

Hey guys.

I recently had some problems with my pc, and had to install all my drivers and stuff again. Including the one for my USB interface, Lexicon Lambda. But now, play back of ANY media (windows media player, e.t.c.) stutters, and i cant get a good "un-stuttered" sound in Nuendo when im using amplitube.

Could some one give me their settings, maybe?

I use ASIO4ALL on everything, my mic drivers, my stock soundcard drivers, and my Lexicon.

I'm interested in hearing some thoughts on this as well. I just upgraded my FLStudio to the latest verion which came with this driver. I haven't really gotten into yet, but I tried to launch the ASIO4ALL program to check it out, change preferences, etc. and it crashes.

Yeah i know. I got a good sound, but the latency is extremely high, not like it used to be.

Lexicon sucks : FACT.

What "problems" did you have with your pc? Have you checked that the playback driver is the driver you're trying to use?

Power supply problems. Got it replaced. 450W.

I dont know what the f***s wrong. I managed to get a good sound without any latency or crackling, but everytime i try and record something on Cubase (3 tracks, 2 with Amplitube, one EZdrummer MIDI track) It keeps stuttering! A lot!

Doesn't your sound card have it's own ASIO drivers? If so, and I imagine it does, you'd be better off using that.

Running three VST instruments while recording isn't a good idea either. Either disable them while recording or freeze the tracks that they are applied to.

No dude, i used to be able to use 10 vst tracks, and about 15 tracks with Amplitube on. No stuttering, nothing. this is a recent problem.
