Problems with my Digitech RP350

Well I got an RP350 because my Teacher Randal Padilla uses it and said it was great. It is but I have a problem with the software, it downloads and I can use all of the programs but I keep getting this annoying pitch through my amp and its pissing me off. Idk why its doing that when its not plugged in to my comp via USB it doesn't make a sound, then I plug it in and it starts making noise.

It isn't feedback, so Idk whats wrong.

Did you try switching cables? I've never too crazy about their processors after owning the RP1. If the problem persists, (and if you're able to), return the unit and get a Boss GT8 or a GT10.
