Queensryche Drum Loops

I am considering buying the Scott Rockenfield (sp?) drum loop set-it's had a good review in SoS, and as drums are the missing link in my meisterwerks(!) maybe it would be a good investment...?

Anyone had any experience with this pack, or other similar loop packs?

Hmmm...sounds interesting. Do you have anymore details on it or is there a place I can chack it out?

Here's a link:

I've been looking at that disc myself. I like his drum sound, but I'd like to hear more of the loops before I spend $100 on it.

Thanks for the link!

In the UK the set is distributed by Time+Space

www.timespace.com

£59.95

Not cheap, but the loops are Acidised. Maybe a lot easier than programming authentic drum pattern...

Judging by the dry demo, they are great sounding samples. I am pretty please with the "Drum Kit From Hell" library, which has the drums of Tomas Hooke of "Meshuga".

DFH is a great disc... but if you're in the market for a new sample library, would really recommend holding off for the new release from toontrack, "Drumkit From Hell, Superior." It's a huge sample library (I think around 30GB) and includes a sampler that is compatible with all hosts (VST, Rewire, Standalone).

check toontrack.com for more details. they have some sound clips as well.
