Recomendations for a "guitar tracks only" protools setup

This may sound like a strange request, but hear me out.

I am looking for recomendations for a "guitar tracks only" protools setup.

I currently have a MACg4 and Digi002R. My amps are a Bogner Extacy and a PodXT. I am particularly fond of the guitar tones on the following albums:

Jellyfish: Spilt milk
Marvelous 3: Hey album
Marvelous 3: ReadySexGo
Owsley: The Hard Way
Dishwalla: Pet your friends
Remy Zero: Villa Elaine

I am looking for any recomendations for gear that will help in my "guitar tracks only" setup.

My goal is to record my own guitar tracks at home and bring them in to the protools hd studio that we have access to.

Not sure if you're asking for hardware..or software.

On the software side ive been messing with Guitar Rig 2 lately, It actually has some pretty darn impressive sounds.

On the hardware side of things, are you talking about mic's and mic pres? Or guitar amps and guitars?
