Recommend me a sound card for recording

What would be good pick? I've heard that Midiman-products are really good for the price.

Can I use my BOSS GT6 as a di-box or should I get a separate (what do they actually do?) box?

Do they have these balanced inputs using a three-pin round connector, cause that's what I usually see as output of di-box?

Digital input (coaxial) would be nice because GT6 has digital output.

Also does having two soundcards in one PC cause trouble? I'd like to keep my SB Live! for games and such.

Thanks in advance.

And I need MIDI too. Is Midiman Audiophile 2496 recommendable?

I have LiveDrive too but the sound quality of SB isn't very good.

Echo Mia Midi would be my top choice. Excellent sound quality for the money.

I agree. I don't have the MIDI version, but it sounds great.

Yeah. I used spdif from BOSS GT6 for best results. Anyway I ordered Midiman Audiophile 2496 and Behringer DI-box just in case.
