Recording Interface: Lexicon Omega or M-Audio Delta 1010LT?

I want a new recording interface because I need to record 2 mics in stereo, and I can't decide between the Lexicon Omega USB interface or the M-Audio Delta PCI interface. I'm leaning towards the M-Audio, but the only thing I'm wondering about is the mic pres. Can I run 2 mics into the M-Audio Delta 1010LT and get good sound quality, or will the Lexicon do a better job of that? Will I be able to adjust the M-Audio so that I can get good volumes with mics running directly into the card?

From what I've heard, the Omega handles the mic pre's and latency better than the M-Audio card. The biggest downside of the M-Audio is the ackwardness of the card iself, because every single cable comes out of it.

If you want to listen to the Omega, do a search for Darin's posts and listen to the results that the omega can give you.

Does anyone know anything about the TC Electronic Konnekt 8? I'm thinking about spending the extra $100 to get that instead of the Lexicon Omega. It does have nearly as many inputs as the Omega, but the mic preamps are probably much better and it's a firewire interface.

I'm using the Omega with no problems at all. I highly recommend it.

Well I know I've diverted from the title of the thread haha, but I decided to buy the TC Electronic Konnekt 8 because I don't need more than 2 inputs; I'm only going to be recording my Legacy half stack with 2 SM57's. The TC is supposed to have very very good mic preamps and converters, so that's why I bought it.
