Shameless self promotion :P

Hey guys

Just trying to find more like minded musicians , checkout my tracks , i put the first one up today so it has zero listens

www.myspace.com/almightyexcalibur

Let me know what you think

My recording gear is

RG 1550GXW EMG85 pair 3 way switch
RG 2610E EMG81

Korg Ax300g (not the 3000g!)

Sonar 7 , Dimension Pro

and ofcourse a midi keyboard for tapping in those drum patterns, or when it comes to it, THE DREADED NOTE BY NOTE STAFF VIEW!

Unfortunately i dont have a band or anything , never played live Northern Ireland aint really the centre of powerprogg lol.
Id love some vocals put down in the tracks that allow it!

Hope you enjoy

You've got some very nice tunes there! Not only cool guitar playing, but also very enjoyable songs.

Keep up the good work mate.

Re: Shameless self promotion :P

Cool stuff man! From a mix standpoint:
The snare in the "Rocking w/" is too soft whereas the snare in "Escape from" is a little loud (but not by much).
Guitar layers are a little loud on "Rocking with".
Your songs are interesting and well though-out. Drum programing is decent but the canned drums are really the main thing holding you back. If you can get a drum program like BFD (the original can be had for under $150 used), go for it!

I absolutely love your guitar tones on Escape from Dragon Castle!

! Thanks guys !

What do you mean by BFD ? Im tired of that crappy drumsound too man , ive tried EZDrummer , Drumkit From Hell plugin for it, and Dimension Pro drums. Id really like to get some better quality beats in my tracks!

I could not get BFD to run on my XP machine. It's a HUGE ram hog from what I learned.
