Here are pics of my simple studio. I use MAudio A/D Cards, along with Adobe Audition and Cubase SX.

Outboard gear:
Digitech ValveFX, Alesis MicroVerb 4, 3630 Compressor, Alesis QSR, Hafler Amp for monitors, Jackson Jx-3 Pre-amp

Lots of Ibanez guitars (though still saving for 7WVH), Drums, keys, Marshall cabs etc...

Re: show off your studio...

I only have a Behringer B2-Pro condensor mic, an Apex dynamic (can't remember the model number, but it was cheap and sounds great), my Tascam US-122 interface and my laptop here. Between that, my guitar rig (Squier Strat, Schecter Revenger-7, both with DiMarzio pickups, Line6 Flextone II) and my bass rig (Fender Jazz Bass V, Yorkville XM-50 combo) it's all I need for home recording. I use Cubase SX, Acid Pro 4.0, Goldwave, and ns_kit7 the most. I use NI Guitar Rig occasionally. Most of my recording goes on at school in the real studio (http://www.musicindustryarts.com for pictures, I'm first year, and also use the MIDI lab occasionally). Couldn't even begin to list everything that's in there. I don't have pics of my "home studio" but really there's no need. I record wherever I can, since it's portable (which I like).

I still have all the old comic strips of Garfield in those Annuals they released. Still pretty funny stuff when I go back over it!

Just how heavy can you get when your staring at garfeild? Replace him with a demon of some sort and your recordings will improve dramaticly.
