soild all in one recorder

well i have been throwing around getting serious about recording stuff. I can record now but my setup is primative and poor quality so i was looking to upgrade and get me an all in one setup.

maybe like the Tascam DP01FX with the built in har drive or maybe like the Boss BR900CD .

I dont need anything incredably fancy but i would like to have the ablity to record with some options, if that makes any sence, and i want a good soild sound quality, it doesn't have to be prefession and i dont expect it to be. Drum patters would be a total bonus. I dont have a drummer and so if i can't get one i'll just have to get me my own drums and learn to play better. be a one man band.

I am open to any options on the recording end and i have decided to go with the shure sm57 to mic up my cab with
