soundcard?

My fellow Jemsiters! I NEED YOUR HELP! hehe

I connect my Behringer UB2442FX-Pro mixer to My (****ty) Soundblaster Live! 5.1 soundcard (line in and also tried microphone port).. I can't seem to get a clean signal while recording. Theres a slight huss (see mp3 example below). Even when the mixer isnt operating at all (nothing connected/ everythn on mute / main mix out volume on mininum) there is still this low noise in the background.

Do you think it's the soundcard?... If so.. what to look for?..
Was thinking MAudio Delta 1010LT or maybe Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum.
If there are any other Soundcards that I should concider, let me know

I'm selling my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card if you're interested? Basically mint, only selling because I bought it before I bought my new computer and ended up not needing it.

I dont think SoundBlaster X-Fi will satisfy you...go for M-Audio or E-MU or any other ASIO Supported card.
