I just picked up some electronic drums and im looking into getting a digital recoreder. Anyone have any experience with the tascam model? Ive also got a line 6 amp that has a direct out so I wouldnt have to mic anything.

I just bought this 2 days ago for my son to fart around on...They have historically had great stuff, and I have always loved their products. After teaching my son to use this, we'll see how good it is...

Nice! Good price. I have an older Tascam 2488, I really like it.

My guitar teacher recommended it over some of the other stuff (Zoom) I was looking at, plus they have good prices

I got the hard drive model and I l ike it. The distortion models suck, but whaddya expect?
That aside, lots of features, and a 48V phantom mic in.
You can mark off songs and isolate and save/ protect songs individually.
It's a good unit.
