trouble with my boss gt

I know i've posted about this before but so far no one on the boss forums or anywhere else have helped me. I have a boss gt-pro but it has lag problems in cubase se and the software for editing can't even find the device. I know i installed drivers perfectly but it just doesn't want to work correctly

Re: trouble with my boss gt

First off you must ensure you follow the directions to install the driver to a tee.

1. Before installing the software change the GT Pros driver mode to "USB: Driver Advanced" (press System then use the Parameter arrow buttons to display the driver mode, rotate the dial to select the mode above. Hit Exit.

2. Follow all instructions on pg 111 of the manual.

3. Ensure you are using the ASIO driver in Cubase. Personally I don't like using the midi interface to record in Cubase, I find it too difficult to set up properly. Instead I went out and bought a spdif digital cable and run that directly into my soundcard, it works perfectly.

Re: trouble with my boss gt

i installed it like the manual and its running asio drivers, i think ill get a spdif cable but that doesnt solve the problem of the library/editor programs not detecting it
