Using PA speakers straight from computer audio interface?
I have Pa speakers with 1/4" inputs, if i hook these up to my computer's
audio interface
(toneport ux2's outputs to Pa speaker inputs), will it work without damaging anything, or is it safer to hook the inteface to my stereo via RCA inputs.

Are the speakers passive or active?

You'll need something to power those speakers with.

Re: Using PA speakers straight from computer audio interface?
problem i have is that my stereo is in another room far from my computer DAW
and i dont want to mess with long cables or relocating everything, so maybe I should invest in some good active monitors that will fit on my computer desk..........
Which leads to my next question:
Behringer Truths or Alesis active monitors for computer desk??

The smaller Behringer 2030A's are a bargain and sound very decent.

get some dedicated active monitors. i recommend the krk stuff. rp-5 if your on a budget. the m-audio stuff is good, too. just don't go super cheap. make sure they are good for your mix environment as well(size).
