VST/Soundfont/MIDI?

I'm looking for a way to trigger soundfonts with a MIDI file. Now, I have Gigastudio but don't know how to use it or what exactly it does (it came with my audio interface). I spotted this link for a VST plugin that'll do the job, but the download link is dead I also have Fruityloops, which is how I'm creating my midis most of the time (exporting to midi), which can play soundfonts, but I've had trouble with trying this in the past (especially with ns_kit which is one thing I plan to use) with figuring out how to trigger it properly.

Anyone have any advice on whether I can/how do I use Gigastudio or Fruityloops for this, or where I can find a VST plugin that'll do the job.

Btw, has to be a free download

Ok, I've got that sfz thing, I've got the soundfont, I've got the midi file...I've got problems

I'm looking to trigger NS_kit7 from a midi drum file I've already got. How do I do this? What program should I use? sfz won't load NS_kit (says not enough memory) but will load other soundfonts no problem (well, except that I want to use NS_kit lol). I've got Gigastudio24 but don't know how to use it, I've got Fruityloops but don't know how to trigger the soundfont with it other than manually.

All I want to do is be able to make a midi track that will trigger the soundfont I choose. Is this possible? What program should I use?

Depending on your soundcard, you may be able to load NS_kit directly. Otherwise, I'd say get more memory, or close some open programs.

I can load NS_kit in Fruityloops no problem. It's just that sfz thing that won't load it.

Anyone want to help me out? i.e. give constructed advice on how to use Soundfonts, etc.?
