!!! COIL TAP JEM !!! HELP!!

Hi, I need some help.

I have a jem 7vwh with evos and I am trying to convert it to having a coil tap / push pull as shown here ->
http://www.ibanez.com/support/wiring/2008/SV5470.pdf but...

I dont know what the colour coding is on the TRUE DUO BLAST pickups. A guy from dimarzio told me that the evo is ->
RED - Start North Coil
BLACK - Finish North Coil
GREEN - Start South Coil
WHITE - Finish South Coil

Does somebody know the TRUE DUO colour coding or is it obvious looking at this diagram?

Thanks for any help offered..... guitar is in bits, and I swore I woild change it before rebuilding otherwise i would never do it...

Peter

My guess is that the could be the same... Why don't you wire the guitar according to the diagram asnd see if it is correct. At least then you'll have a starting point if the wiring is not correct. I didn't know that the SV5470 had coil tap from the factory....

Re: !!! COIL TAP JEM !!! HELP!!

white and black go together for standard humbucker so if you ground them out(either with a switch or an un-used tone pot), you get single coil. Red is hot and green goes to ground along with the shield for most normal switching. I have been doing lots of DiMarzio's lately so the color code is fresh in my mind. The DiMarzio website has wiring schematics anyway.
