Question

2 wiring questions for push-pull and 2-way mini switch.

So I am very close to finishing my current RG project. I thought of this for the controls instead of just the plain old RG control layout. Is it possible to use a push-pull from Dimarzio and have the volume in the pulled position and tone in the pushed position? Also, is it possible to use a 2-way mini switch from Dimarzio as an on/off killswith contraption? I don't have a clue since I do not know much about wiring and controls.

Thanks

While i'm pretty certain you can't do what you're trying to do with just a push pull pot, you'd be able to do that with a dual stacked concentric pot, which, as the name suggests, is just two pots stacked on top of each other. The top knob could be the volume and the bottom knob could be tone, or whichever way you choose.

You would also definately be able to use a two way switch as a killswitch.

Thanks! I was thinking that the push/pull would be impossible, I'm just going to use just the simple 1 vol and just eliminate the tone since i never use the tone switch and its always at 0 anyways.
