540s LTD /F2/C2/F1

Hi, Iīm a newbe here, but I need some advise..
have patience with me thus Iīm an old man from Sweden, and not wery good with English.

I have an 540s LTD/DY, (I think), Roadster Pro, 1990 mod (No: F036702), H/S/H, and I canīt find a wiring diagram for the pupīs. My humbuckers have 5 wires, green/white/black/red/and a non isulated(ground), and the red & black are solded together!!??, on both pupīs, Someone told me "this is a Frank Gambale model". but there is no label on it to justify that. The last owner had removed the yellow paint, so it is Mahogny now. I really need a chematical diagram for the wiring...plz would anyone help me??

Good diagrams are on jemsite and dimarzio for the entire guitars.

4 wire HSH pups with an old 5 way switch? try the 770/jem555 diagram on ibanez.com...

never mind how the wires are soldered together, sometimes many different combos produce the same end results, just stick to this one if you have the same 5way and you should be alright ...

Maybe they arent the exact same pups, but if theyre stock IBZ USA pups with 4 wires + ground (which were made by dimarzio) or just plain dimarzios, that diagram should work... (asuming thats the 5 way switch thats in your axe)

If you have Duncans the wire colors are different and i never wired any of those... :/

DiMarzio wiring colur reads that the 2:d coil i terminated= not working at all!!!??
So the gitarr acts like a Strat, with 3 Singlecoils pup´s.....confusing..
The Ohm meter reads..F1=8k2, C2=16k5, and F2=9k9 Ohms
My inductans meters battery is flat out...typical.
Anyone who might know the sound from those pup´s???

Weird, from the looks, id try the 770 diagram...

you do need to have all the wires separated, otherwise you might be shortin a coil...

I found one...RG2570E 2004, looks almost like RG770.
I still can´t figger out why they´d wired HB as SC????!!!

I´ve fixed my 540s Roadster DL, pictures here, you kan se my Peavey Bravo on one of the images.
It sounds quite nice and have a really loud "go", all mic´s are original.

Hmmm looks newer than 90. My 90 does not have that custom made inlay.
