Question 7 strong Dimarzio pickups for RG1527M

Hey all,
I have a brand new Ibanez prestige 1527M on its way and I am looking to upgrade the stock pickups asap. I have settled on a D sonic 7 for bridge, but I am between thr Blaze Neck or the Paf 7 for neck pu. Right.now my.main guitar uses a dsonic, virtual solo, and.paf pro and im trying.to recreate that.pickup layout as.close as possible for.the 7 string. I posted this same question on dimarzioforum.com but there seems to be no 7 string players there who could help me. I like to play djent and progressive.metal incorporating all styles, so I enjoy great coil tapping and parallel tones from my pickups. The blaze.neck seems like more of a paf 36th ann. Eq but much hotter and high dc resistance so good coil tapping ability. The paf 7 seems a bit.low for dc resistance and output, but that may also be good for.my.playing style. Anyone have experience with the.paf 7? Ive played a blaze neck in a stock Jem777bk and rather enjoyed it, even with the warmer tones of.the.guitar. I know ill get more snap out of it with the maple fretboard. Any insight would be.much appreciated!

How the hell did you play a Blaze in a Jem? They never made a 6-string Blaze.

That being said, I'll recommend the Blaze neck. I like a bit more output in the neck. Not a ton more or anything, and definitely not more than the bridge (I use a D-Sonic 7 as well) but a little bit higher is always better for shredding. And the cleans on it are very good.

Sorry I meant a UV777bk 7 string ibanez? I think thats the name, the only 7 string Vai guitar ibanez offers at the moment.

Yes, THAT'S the correct model

The JEM777BK looks similar. But with the added "Jem" trademarks. And with only 6 strings.
