Air Norton vs. Air Zone

I've played an Air Zone in the bridge and really liked it. What's the difference between it and a Air Norton?

Re: Air Norton vs. Air Zone

Same as the difference between the TZ and the Norton, the Norton(s) have tighter bass, slightly more harmonics and lower output.

Re: Air Norton vs. Air Zone

The Air Zone is a "restrained" Tone Zone... the Air Norton was meant to be an "Air" version of the Norton but came up kinda different so they destined to be in the neck, where its damn perfect...

AZ/AN combo would rock

Re: Air Norton vs. Air Zone

I suggest using both pickups in the neck position only in tandem with a tone zone.

Re: Air Norton vs. Air Zone

i had an air zone in the neck of one of my guitars for awhile , it was cool for jazz or really smooth creamy leads but it sucked when it came to clean tone .

the air norton cleans up a lot better in the neck position , i like it alright , i wish it had a tad more power , but overall pretty good .
