Any reason to upgrade pick-ups in UV777bk?

I love the sound of my guitar but was wondering if there was room for improvement. My last guitar teacher had EMG 707s in his custom ibanez and they were pretty sweet but as far as I know, you have to cut the guitar up to make the pickups fit and I'd rather not do that. I've heard alot about the AN7/Blaze Custom set-up. Is it worth the money to upgrade to these over the stock Blaze 2s currently in the guitar?
One other question. Somebody told me the neck and bridge pickups are identical in my guitar, it's just the neck pickup is flipped around or something like that. Is any of that true? Thanks

No, the neck and bridge pickups are slightly different pickups. If you like the sound of your guitar then I don't see any reason to upgrade. You SHOULD upgrade the pickups in your guitar if you aren't satisfied with what you have or if you 100% believe that it will improve the tone of your guitar. Personally, I'm a big fan of the Blaze Custom in the bridge of 7 strings and I think that's the pickup you'll want since you liked the sound of EMG 707s. As for the neck, I would either leave it stock or maybe go with the AN7 or PAF7.
