anyone ever try the rio grande BBQ and genuine texas pu's?


I hear these are really great for bright guitars and i have a EBMM axis that i wanted to get a set of pu's for that still has a paf type tone but fatter?
I dont care for dimarzio

I have a pair in a Hamer Duotone that sounds great. The Texas is a little hotter than a PAF/59 type and the BBQ has more output than the Texas, but is more boosted than distorted. A very nice combo.

I have a brand new set in zebra if you are interested. Never installed.
