Question

Anyone tried FS-1 single coil?

Hi!
I asked people at Dimarzio what's the closest sounding pickup in middle position to what's Paul Gilbert is using, and they said it is FS-1 single(reverse polarity) - DP110S.
They referred to Tonezone (bridge) -> FS-1 single (middle) -> PAF Pro (neck)
pickup configuration.
I was bit suprised because I didn't really had FS-1 in my mind and I haven't got a chance to hear it anywhere,so if anyone has it or have heard it,I would be very grateful if you say a word or two...

Thanks!

Re: Anyone tried FS-1 single coil?

Haven't tried it yet, but my reason for getting one is that Johnny Ramone used it at the bridge on most of his guitars.
