Best Full Humbucker For Fat Strat?

I just don't think I'm going to be happy with a single coils sized anything in my G&L Strat. It is ash and very bright. I'm used to RG's. I would like to fit my strat for good instrumental rock tones. I want to use a Dimarzio as well.

I've considered a Paf Pro, Tone Zone, Air Zone, Norton, and Air Norton. I have to be careful to not make it too bright. Any suggestions for people who play fat strats?

Since the guitar is bright I suggest you to get tone zone.

I would consider going for the Paf Pro, or even the Fred.

I love how no one (save for Tom) is actually reading the thread, just making suggestions of their favorite pickups. The PAF, PAF Pro, and FRED are all way too bright if you want a fuller, fatter strat.

Norton is also (contrary to popular belief) actually a fairly bright pickup.

I suggest you go with the Tone Zone, or the Air Zone for a slightly more vintage voicing if that's what you want.
