Boutique pickups
Can you post some links to any you know? Just curious. Off the top of my head, I know there is Bareknuckle, Bartolini, Lungdren, .... uh, PRS?

Re: Boutique pickups
Lindy Fralin and Chris Kinman spring to mind ...... no idea of their web addresses though - Anderson does (did?) their own pickups, as does
John Suhr

Re: Boutique pickups
The PRS pickup used in the neck is insane, I could play music on that thing for the rest of my life
The bridge one isnt as good, bit to bassy and muddy, I guess i could bring it down a bit (away from the strings) but I think it wouldnt make it much better

www.suhrguitars.com
Suhr pickups are pretty damn killer, I've checked out their single coil V60s, one of the best chimey open single coil tones I've heard in a long time.

WCR pickups! Lot's of great online opinions about these, though I've never tried them out before.
