Bridge Pickup choice for 88 Jem

Hiya folks,

The Paf Pro in my 88 DY has gone kaput, and so I am looking to replace it.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what to replace it with? Is it best just to stick another Paf in there (and where the hell do i get a faded pink one from !) or are there better options now available.....

And what colour? (most important.....think a green one would look good in there...or half green half pink....dunno...

Just pickin your brains.

Pete

Get a green one, and a yellow cover for the middle pickup... kinda like the traffic light jem

now, seriously, i dunno... if you were happy with the sound, you could go with a new Paf Pro (why fix it if it wanst broke?)... now if you want something that cuts a lil more, id go with either a ToneZone or an Evo bridge, depending on your sound preferences/needs

good luck (and post pics!!)

Hey man, I have a FP and I'm planning on replacing the pickups pretty soon. So if you're looking for a faded pink paf pro, I'll probably have one or two. Just PM me if you wanna talk. The thing is, Im still looking for the right pup to put in there so it could take me a week or two before that one becomes available.

You could get a pink Duncan JB, that would sound fine. The JB sounds great in a basswood RG.
