I just got my USRG30TP today- hooray!
BUT- the mounting plate on the bottom of the
neck humbucker on the low-E side has broken. So, there is nothing holding down that side, and the foam behind the pickup just pushes it up until the low E,A and D strings stop it.
What can I do?
And if the answer is 'New Pickup', a couple questions are:
1) Should I stick with the PAF Pro or go with an Air Norton?
2) do I need F-spacing for the
neck pickup on the USRG30? (or the treb pickup for that matter?- might just replace both with violet/black humbuckers)
3) Wiring issues? Do I just connect the new pickups according to the wiring of the old pickups? Are the wires labeled? Etc.?
