Question

capacitor switching mod


i found a lil mod i wanna try in my rg at the link below. i don't have an on/on mini switch, i just have an on/on/on mini switch. would i be able to wire 3 different caps to this switch and how would i do it? any help would be greatly appreciated.

i belive that the on/on/on will mean that when you switch to the middle postion you will be using both caps which may not be the best thing.

that does look like a cool experiment though, i have heard of a few people playing with resistors and caps together but i never though of being able to switch cap vaules using a switch or push pull tone pot.

yeah that wouldn't be good at all. i was hoping that i would be able to wire a cap on each of the 2 end poles and then use the 2 "common" poles in the middle to wire the standard cap in the rg so i would have the regular in the middle and then the mods on the other 2 positions. wishful thinking i guess.
