Hi,
i have an ibanez (about 15 yrs old) and i'm changing the
current pickups with Dimarzio one's. The setting is a s-s-h, a master volume knob and 3 switches, one for every pickup (the single pickups switches are 2 way off/on and the humbucker a 3 way switch off/single/humbucker).The old pickups have 2 wires, red (which i think is the hot) and white...and the bare.
These are the connections:-
The neck pickup: red and bare soldered together to back of volume and white to the 1st switch
The middle pickup: white and bare soldered together to back of volume and red to the 2nd switch
The bridge pickup (humbucker): red and white soldered separetly to the 3rd switch and the bare grounded to the back of the switch.
As the
Dimarzio pickups have 4 wires (red, green, black, white)and a barre i need to know which wires to solder instead of the red and white old ones...(or maybe a new
wiring diagram). Thanks.
