D-Sonic and Paf Pro.

How would a D-Sonic (b) and a Paf Pro (n) pickup sound in basswood body? In the D-Sonic im looking for a nice metal riff tone as well as a crunchy lead, and in the paf im looking for a softer sound for clean stuff and leads.

Re: D-Sonic and Paf Pro.

i had that pretty much exact setup in an rgt42 when they were made of basswood .

they sounded great together imo . the paf pro a little blurry/flubby but for the most part nice and round . the d-sonic was well ... a d-sonic . good low-mid chunck and smoothed highs , but still a little grit .
