Dactivator for RG750?

I recently picked up an RG750. It has an ibanez usaf2 in the bridge and neck. i'd like to spice things up a bit for more harmonics, sustain, etc. have any of you tried the dactivators (bridge/neck) in a basswood rg? breeds were recommended to me as well. how about duncan distortions in the neck and bridge?

any thoughts would be appreciated.
