Differences between DP701 and ..?

Hi guys,

on my UV's the single PU - I believe it's a blaze single-coil - has no-adjustable pole pieces
the nowadays DP701 has adjustable pole-pieces

is it the only difference, is it a different pickup ?
if someone can explain me that, thanks a lot in advance
