I already changed the bridge to Evo7 and it's way better!
The single Hum-cancelling would be interesting - any issues mixing this (i.e how you would wire it with 4 poles to the 5way?)

I don't see the Jem's ISCV2 anymore and Ibanez spec it as DSP1 - even this is not on their site! What's the story here?

Wait, let me get this straight...We've all been waiting since 1990 for someone to make real 7-string single coils, but the last three weeks is frustrating you?

We've been quoting a "late February" delivery date, and we're exactly on time. The first batch came off the line last week I think. As for Europe availability, the distributors have to receive them, then send them to their stores. I don't know if you have a favorite dealer you like to use for pre-ordering, but that's probably the quickest way to get one.

i made a blaze 7 single a true single... i replaced the allen screws and 2 mags with alnico 2 rod magnets, and it sounds great! More like a "real" Strat single coil, big improvement.

Quick review - they are very good vintage toned single coils - what more can I say?

I've got a SSL-5 in the bridge with SSL-1s neck and middle.

The good: They translate that classic strat like tone into a 7 string format.

The bad: The tubing supplied instead of springs to mount the pick ups I like, but come on SD, the ones that came with these pickups ranged from 5mm long up to 2cm, and no 2 were the same length, which is pretty shoddy.

Over all I'm impressed, and they were exactly what I've been after for quite some time. They are in a prototype for a strat I'm building, and the guitar doesn't have a particularly good tone to begin with, but these made it perfectly usable. Can't wait to hear them in the alder body I'm making.
