Dimarzio D Sonic Vs Dimarzio Super Distortion

I Have an Ibanez 1570 Prestige, and I'm using the tone zone for the moment.

I'm looking for a pickup that gives me a strong strong distortion, like the sound of a seven string guitar or a guitar in drop tuning (but in standard ). Like I use to say a distortion like a motorcicle warming up.

For those who Have tryed those what you have to say: advantages and disadvantages for Heavy metal use ?

The super distortion is quite a dark and bassy sounding pickup. The D-Sonic is a brighter and tighter sounding pickup. Especially with the bar towards the bridge. If it is just for metal and you just want balls out output you may like an X2N.
