Dimarzio DP103N&DP223N=New 2008 36th annivesary PAF?
Am i right?


I ordered DP103 and DP223 on Musiciansfri**d.c*m early today, but few hrs later i found that it wasn't the 2008 Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF i was looking for.
So, i decided to to change the item b4 it's too late. I guess the new PAF should be DP103N and DP223N. Is this 2 the new 2008 Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF?

The picture of the DP103N and DP223N show that the brass base plate is nickel silver. So i guess DP103N and DP223N is the new model......... am i right?

Just got reply from Dimarzio, and i think the info is very helpfull for any1 who gonna buy the latest Dimarzio PAF:

DP223 (all versions) did not exist before 2008, so all DP223 in the world are the 36th Anniversary model.



DP103 has been with us for 35 years with a brass base. The 36th Anniversary model has a silver base. If the pickups that you received from Musician’s Friend have silver bases, they are the latest 2008 model, the 36th Anniversary model.



The –N model has a polished nickel cover.



If you want the vintage-looking version of either model, you need to order the vintage options at extra cost (any combination of vintage bobbins, cable, legs and cover).
