Dimarzio/Ibz vs Dimarzio (Mo' Joe & PAF Joe) wire colors

Hi Folks,

I'm going to put in a Dimarzio Mo' Joe and a PAF Joe in my RGA121 shortly. I have been looking at the wiring diagrams by Dimarzio, but they recommend their 5-way switch (of course, thank-you capitalism) EP1112. So I went about town today looking for the switch, but with no luck. They obviously won't place an order for one switch either. I have had experience soldering in the past, so I refuse to shell out $100 (Toronto, Canada prices) to have them installed for me.

I thinking that since my Ibanez 5-way switch is the same one used in the RGA321 with Dimarzio/IBZ pickups, could I use that wiring diagram (as provided on the Ibanez website) in order to hook-up my Dimarzio's?

In short does a Dimarzio red wire (hot) equal a Dimarzio/IBZ red wire (hot)? The same with the rest of the colors? I've spent the past hour on this site using the search function; my assumption is somewhat confirmed, but I haven't been able find any explict evidence.

Well, after studying several wiring diagrams I figured it out. They are now installed with the standard Ibanez switch. My local shops didn't have the recommended Dimarzio switch (EP1112 I believe), and wouldn’t order just the one switch for me.

All of the wire colors are the same in the V8 to in comparison to the Mo’ Joe pup. Most of the wire colors are the same in the V7 to in comparison to the PAF-Joe pup except for 2 of them. For those who are curious, the white wire on the V7 is the same as the green wire on this Dimarzio, and vice-versa.
