i am quite disappointed in v7-v8 combo in RGA121; time to go shopping for pickups. I definitely want DiMarzios, and from what i hear, i'd like to have more mids from the pickup, a tad more bass - modre defined, too, and balanced treble. after listening to clips on the webpage - I don't have a lot of hands-on experience with pickups - i narrowed my search (bridge position) to either
Evo 2 Bridge or Super 3; i like the latter a little bit more. does any have one? wouldn't it be too dark for the mahogany / maple RGA?
i'm mostly a rhythm guy in a metal band, so i want tight, defined and balanced pickups, nothing too dark / too screamy.
