Dimarzio wiring help

I'm considering getting one of these for a two humbucker guitar. They refer to the hot, ground, shielding, and series-link. What do these mean in terms of Dimarzio wire colors?

According to the Dimarzio wiring diagram, red and black are the first coil and white and green are the second coil. So I'm guessing:

Hot: red or green
Ground: red or green (the one that's not hot )
Shielding: braid

What's the "series-link" they talk about?

Alternately, does anyone know where I can get a VLX91?

Series link is that the black and white wires are connected together to join both coils in series. So if the diagram tells you to connect the series link to something, they mean both wires.
