Does Vai Use 250K Pots

I heard this somewhere about some of his guitars. Is this the case?

I remember reading something about this in an interview, roundabout the "Fire Garden" recordings. If I'm not mistaken he used a 250K tone pot on EVO, to take some brightness off when he rolled the Volume knob back.

that would make alot of sense if he did use the 250k's over 500k's. i might have to try that with Elvis (my 7VWH). if that doesn't get my tones i will break down and buy an EvoII for the bridge. only hang up would be i don't want the neck Evo and mid pup to be affected by the drop in high end and output from the 250k pot.
funny that i was wondering the same thing after using Elvis this past weekend at a couple shows. i just couldn't get happy with the bridge pup.
