DONE! Breed neck in bridge! (NEW CLIP)

Hey guys,
I couldn't wait for soundclips so I just took my old Breed pup and wired it into my S520EX bridge position.

Here's the link:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NAD6RNHE

I only had time to do some heavy distortion rhythm and a lead... I must say, I totally dig the crisp vintagey tones thats coming out of this configuration! The cleans are killer too! For those of you with a Breed neck model, expect the same killer acoustic like cleans when its split, just tighter and slightly more trebly at the bridge. There is a very nice snap to the distorted tone, even on the low end.... speaking of which, the low end is booming! Its not a super tight low end ala the X2N but its a bit on the loose side.... nothing to worry about IMO. Harmonics are easy to get, they jump out with minimal effort... close to the Tonezone's harmonic responsiveness. Speaking of tonezone, the breed's dynamics are just as good and it sounds more organic as compared to the TZ's modern slant.

This config is a keeper... I loved the Breeds for their "vintage sound with modern power" when I used them last time... and now, the Breed neck in the bridge brings that to a less over the top tone with a less extreme eq (unlike the Breed bridge). Now, I'm getting back my old Humbucker From Hell. Heh. I am pleased.

HERE IT IS!!!
A proper showcase.

Everything is the Breed neck... the cleans, everything! If any wants a detail description of what i used and all, just ask.

Re: DONE! Breed neck in bridge!

yeah i love the breed neck for a bridge pup
it is a fatter paf pro
i like to use a pro in the neck wiuth the breed neck model at the bridge
it is a killer vintage/modern combo and tone
like you said the breed gives the paf ear candy but has the more powerful output and is not thin and real trebly like most older paf or repro ones like a duncan 59 or a gibson 57 classic
in a ibanez guitar or other strat style ones

I must say...that sounds really good. I still like the nasal sound of the Evos but that really does sound good, like...worth trying out actually. Heh.

Holy crap...that sounds awesome. I love the actual clip too, you really do shred cows! Lol. Really, that is a great sound, I'm going to have to try that out. I may just trade out my Evo bridge for it and that takes some convincing. Awesome job!
