dumb question re: pickup replacement

Pardon the dumb question, but I've got an old RG 440 that I'm thinking about upgrading the pickups on. The guitar has a H-S-S configuration, which will hopefully show up in the photo below.

Here's the dumb question: The two single-coils are mounted in kind of a slanted way. Will any "strat-style" single coil pickup work here and still have the pole piece correctly aligned with the strings? My knowledge of geometry has faded with time, so I'm having a hard time figuring out if the fact these pickups are slanted means that they're wider or might have different pole spacing from a standard GFS or Dimarzio pickup.

The spacing is the same (f-spacing 51mm) for both slanted and straight pickups and they are the exact same dimensions as standard Strat single coils.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I'm thinking of putting some GFS pickups in there. I've gotta think it would be an improvement over the 20-plus year old stock pickups.
